1991-Detroit had William Bedford and James Edwards-They both sucked
1992-Portland had Kevin Duckworth at center-He sucked.
1993-Phoenix had Chambers who didn’t even start he was getting old,Kempton who sucked and Miller who was only 22 and so so. 3 guys who split the playing time at the center position. Anything else?

whb786-In response to your comment that Jordan had at center. Dennis Rodmam at 6’8″ played like a guy 7ft+ The man was a MONSTER on the boards and a MONSTER on D. He was there to rebound and play D. A power forward he was better than almost every center in the league in those catagories.He was7x rebounding champ and 7x defensive first team. He got the ball M.J. and Pippen scored with it. I’m not taking anything away from M.J. he was great but your way off base with that comment.

Both had great coaches
Both were the best at their position
And Vans, nobody forgot Bird. Have you been watching the playoffs? When Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Miller named their all time 5 man lineup, Bird was on all 3 lists. No one will ever forget Bird relax.

Magic had Kareem, Bird had Parish. Pippen was lanky but was never a threat from the post on offence or the middle on defence. Every team that has won a title strong center.
