    Watched Ed and others perform at the CME at UCSD (percussion with flower pots) in the late ’70s. Was a life changing & enhancing experience.

    omg... i miss [THE] so much too… I studied with both of these amazing guys at UCSD, and remember in theory class trying to sightread the rhythm exercise from the middle of this performance! HAHA! Love you guys. Will always remember CHI-CA-GO!

    Ed Harkins was the only professor who could keep me awake (and *laughing*) at an 8 a.m. class.

    I saw [THE] perform in 1982. They were just amazing, and I’ve never seen anything like them before or since! I wish there were more videos available of them. Thank you for posting this one!
